During the lordship of Péróz, [son of] Yäzdägärd, there was no rain for six years.
The people suffered from a great hardship and calamity.
Then came the Yedivar (Héfta̋la̋n) king Äxşonwa̋r and killed Péróz. And Käwa̋d brought [his] sister and a fire to the Yedivar as pledges [of his allegiance].
During the lordship of Käwa̋d, Mäzdäk, [son of] Ba̋mda̋d, came out in open day and established the Mazdakian law.
He deceived and led astray Käwa̋d, ordered that women, children and riches should be shared by all and that the Mazdian religion be abandoned.
Until Husräw of the Immortal Soul, son of Käwa̋d, came of age, killed Mäzdäk, restored the Mazdian religion, repelled those Xun (Xyóna̋n) who continously attacked Éra̋nşähr on horseback, stopped [their] passage, and freed Éra̋nşähr of fear.
